Once you’re deep into the virtual world, you’ll hardly notice that you’re wearing the oVRcome VR Headset, even after a longer session.

The oVRcome headset has an adjustable, ergonomic T-shaped strap which reduces pressure around your eyes by up to 30% to help keep dizziness and fatigue at bay.

The comfortable strap and foam lens cushioning holds the headset securely and stops light from seeping in. Clever ergonomics helps spread the weight of the headset evenly across your face and head, so the headset feels light and well-fitted.

Our VR headset can be worn by people who wear spectacles. It has focus adjustment and interpupillary distance wheels which can be adjusted for maximum visual comfort and to give you the best immersive virtual reality experience possible through a mobile VR headset.

The oVRcome VR headset is compatible with all smartphones from 4.7” to 6.0”, and can be used with any VR app.

FAQs
How does a VR headset work?
How does a VR headset work?

A VR headset shows you a 360° image. When you move, the device changes what you are seeing. This has the effect of immersing yourself in a simulated environment to make your brain think that you’re someplace else. The mobile VR headset you use with oVRcome works in conjunction with your smartphone. This is a really simple way to access virtual reality. Once you get your smartphone on the correct app, you open the front flap and slot it in, and you’re ready to go.

Do you need headphones for VR
Do you need headphones for VR

It is not necessary to have headphones in order for the VR headset to function. However, headphones help enhance a virtual reality experience because when you see and hear a scenario, you are much more immersed in it. When you are fully immersed in a situation, you tend to take away more significant results from it. If you are using wired headphones, you can connect your headphones to your smartphone through the gaps at the side of your VR headset.

Will I get dizzy using the headset?
Will I get dizzy using the headset?

Extended use of VR can lead to virtual reality sickness which causes dizziness, disorientation, nausea, eye soreness, and trouble focusing. Please take a 10 to 15 minute break every half hour by taking off your headset and looking at objects far away to reduce eye strain, even if you don’t think you need it. If symptoms persist, do not try to “power through” the content. Stop using the headset and try again in 24 hours.

Do I need to be sitting while using it?
Do I need to be sitting while using it?

No, you do not need to be sitting while using the VR headset. You should position yourself somewhere safe, and however you feel most comfortable, be that sitting down, standing up, or leaning back.

How can I use VR Safely?
How can I use VR Safely?

If this is your first time using VR, use your headset for short periods until you become more familiar and comfortable with the feeling of being in VR. We recommend starting with 5 minutes every other day for a week. Then building up to 10 minutes at a time. For your physical safety, make sure to use your headset away from walls and furniture. Keep a 5 foot (1.5 meter) radius around yourself, from head to toe, clear from any potential hazards.

What should I do if the simulations are blurry or don’t look right when I’m wearing my VR headset?
What should I do if the simulations are blurry or don’t look right when I’m wearing my VR headset?

First, adjust the focus adjustment wheel and IPD wheels on your headset. If that doesn’t help give you a clearer image, then check that your smartphone is positioned flat against the viewer and that the center of the app screen is aligned with the center of the device. Two other things to try would be to turn off zoom in settings if your phone is set to this function, and to remove your phone case for a more snug and precise fit.
